This two-day SMARTspace focuses on the financial tools needed to facilitate a sense of responsibility, accountability, and financial stewardship within management.
With the knowledge acquired, delegates will be able to view organisational value and further improve operational functions by applying principles and approaches that encourage a zero-waste business mindset.
- Understand the different types of waste typically found in production processes.
- Identify effective means of improving financial expenditure within a department that has minimum and maximum value processes.
- Understand the organisational benefits of successful stewardship of resources.
- Understanding of a value-based approach to decision-making.
- Regularly assess workflows to identify and eliminate unnecessary waste, improving efficiency and resource management.
- Make informed decisions by considering the overall value and impact of choices on efficiency, cost and organisational goals.
- Use the core instruments of financial management in support of the organisation’s financial targets and ensure a holistic understanding of organisational sustainability.
